Earlier this spring, local farmers Tim and Brooke Irlmeier of Irlmeier Family Farms in Audubon, Iowa, opened a bucket of Talc USA to start the planting season. Much to their surprise, they found a green cup buried in their bucket. This green cup was not just to be used as a scoop - but meant they would receive a $500 Horizon Equipment gift card!
The green cup has an even bigger meaning; the participating dealership, Horizon Equipment, would be able to choose an organization to receive a $2,000 donation from Talc USA. After some thought between the Audubon location Horizon Equipment staff, they choose two of the local FFA chapters. Exira-EHK FFA and Audubon FFA each received a check for $1,000! The chapters plan to use this donation to benefit their organizations as they see necessary.
Each year while packaging product, Talc USA selects three buckets at random to receive the special green cup. Over the past ten years, Talc USA has been able to give back over $77,000 to the agriculture industry with the Green Cup Promotion Program. Horizon Equipment is proud to stand by Talc USA in supporting youth agriculture organizations not only across the continent, but especially in our own backyard.
